LET ME TELL YOU MY STORY

I am Yang Junshi, born in Jinan, the city of springs in China in the 1980s.

I am the only child in my family, and my parents love me very much. When I was five years old, my dad told me that if I wanted to continue watching Kung Fu TV series, I had to take piano or violin lessons. I wanted to learn the piano, but my parents told me that my family couldn’t afford a piano. How about learning the violin? Yes! I said to my parents. However, I don’t remember ever seeing a Kung Fu TV show again since then, lol.

For thirty years, I am truly grateful to my parents and teachers for making me a good classical musician and a better person. Because of classical music, I have the chance to travel around the world, to meet people of different regions, ages, genders, and personalities. I started using my camera and recorder to capture the places I traveled, the people I met, the stories I heard from them, and the music compiled from those stories. I am so grateful to have the chance to take photos and record music for you, because it is the most precious memory at the moment of your life.
